I do confess - I've an insufferable penchant for tea parties. So much exhilirating giddy fun to bake delectables, prep petit fours, craft teeny tea sandwiches, and regale in it all whilst swirling cream and lumps o' sugar into a perfect cuppa with excellent company.
We'd no finer way to loll through the rain-sloshing weekend than to indulge in afternoon tea, picnic-style in the
playground!
Now my travel satchels are stuffed, as I shall be soaring o'er to the other side of the coast this impending evening
to the Big Apple....what a blessing to spend a 4-day holiday with one of my most beloved cosmopolitan hotspots. It has been a year too long since we've last met.
Cheers to a superb musical-indulging, sweets-sampling, flea-marketing, city-moseying jaunt!
