Pleasant, plump, and portly

are how I prefer my pillows, especially dolled up in hot-off-the-sewing-machine pillowcases of the reversible nature, and throw pillows, too, made from some of my most favored stash of fanciful and vibrant fabrics,for the most current project, Renovation Bedroom. 'Tis far from finished, but here is a tidbit of progress thus far: 'Twas a gloriously warm sun-dazzling January weekend in Southern California...prime time for picnicking (with a gleeful then-flea market find of a 60s picnic basket), a chance we thoroughly snatched!Absolutely lovely.

Novelties for the playground

Since the playground of a studio debuted 4 months prior, it's accrued subtle doses of both handcrafted and time-honored goodies, that, if you scrutinize intently, shall be a piece o' cake to spot. I finally repurposed the keen heap o' 30s feedsacks, here converted into a plump throw pillow for the vibrant armchair,organized theater souvenirs,and knick-knacks,jazzed up the worktable,rounded up vintage trinkets for the rustified shelfside table,and the studio's entirety in general,but not before profuse crafting for the most current project, whose snapshots I shall post in a jiffy!

The jolly holly-daze

Communal festivities galore with lovelies here, there, and everywhere,concocting baked tastiness with a chummy,and on my own,bushels and buckets of baking, in fact,saving the stomachs for sweet treats,

ooling at my poppa's ravishig history-laden Victorian residence of his teenhood for the very first time,embarking on a flea market romp,and snagging swell vintage magnificence for the most current project!Marvelous times were had to commemorate the year's end and kick off the new one. Happy belated birthday, Jesus Christ, and thank you for the year anew! Cheers, my dears!
